ARIA was founded by Dana Wiechert, a passionate humanitarian and advocate for improving Australia's disability and health services, and thereby improving lives.
A firm believer in continuous personal development and self-improvement, Dana is currently a student member of the ACA (Australian Counselling Association) and is furthering her tertiary studies in the field of Counselling with AIPC (Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors), adding to her arsenal of impressive experience and extensive education.
With an employment history in business management, disability support, and recruitment services - both within the government and private sectors - Dana has turned her dissatisfaction into a powerful force for change.
Dana has a special interest in the areas of neurodivergence in children, neuroplasticity, depression/anxiety, and the role of mental health in chronic diseases and disability. After having experienced first-hand the challenges of accessing support for a child with disability, Dana has become a resounding voice for change and improvement in the disability sector and the provision of supports for the most vulnerable in our community.
Dana's favourite books include "Quantum Healing; Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine" by Dr Deepak Chopra, "The Courage To Be Disliked" by Fumitake Koga & Ichiro Kishimi, "Atomic Habits" by James Clear, and "The Conscious Parent" by Dr Shefali Tsabary.
